The School of Film and Television of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts will host its annual Graduation Screening this weekend, showing a total of seven films. The films are jointly produced by students from the School’s six majors, namely, Cinematography, Directing, Editing, Production Administration, Screenwriting, and Sound, who have all devoted a year of hard work in the production process.
The seven films are uniquely different in terms of its theme and storyline, touching on various social issues, such as family bonding, racism and homosexuality. To know more about the films, please visit:

The seven films will be presented in two programmes: Programme One (4 films) and Programme Two (3 films). Each programme will be shown in the Academy Drama Theatre and The Metroplex. The main crew will meet with the audiences after the screenings.

About The 2nd Academy Festival
The annual Academy Festival showcases the talent and vitality of students from the Academy’s six Schools – Chinese Opera, Dance, Drama, Film and Television, Music, and Theatre and Entertainment Arts. It provides an opportunity for the public to celebrate the efforts of graduating classes while experiencing the entire performing art experience. The first Academy Festival was met with inaugural success and support from a broad spectrum of the Hong Kong community. The 2nd Academy Festival presents a series of performances and activities including Cantonese opera, dance, drama, concerts, exhibitions, screenings and sharing sessions.
