The Sound Design and Sound System Design programmes focus on teaching artistic, technical and collaborative skills. Students will develop practical competencies in the work of, appropriately, Sound Designers and Sound System Designers and the support teams charged with realising contemporary production sound design and reinforcement. Final year classes allow students to further develop their emerging skills in a range of production environments. Students will undertake their Graduation Project and complete two production sound design/sound system design assignments in this terminal year of study.
The objective of the Music Production programme is to educate aspiring sound producers and recording engineers and in the theory and practice of modern music production. The student will learn music recording techniques combined with production aesthetics. In the final year, classes allow students to further develop their sound recording and mastering skills and focus on their Graduation Project.
