Audition and Selection Requirements:
In addition to meeting the Academy pre-requisites for entry into their chosen programme, applicants will be invited to attend an audition and interview to ascertain their suitability for entry into the school.
Audition for Local Applicants
1st Round Audition:

2nd Round Audition:
Date: 25-26 Jan 2025 (Dance Performance or Choreography major)

Audition for Non-local Applicants

All applicants may be invited to submit a recently made digital recording of maximum 20 minutes’ duration with a certified statement that it is the applicant’s own performance. The video should include a technique class and a solo (in the applicant’s choice of Major dance study).
Content: Ballet, Chinese Dance, Contemporary Dance, Choreography (For reference only)

All fees will not be collected through any agencies. Applicants should submit application via HKAPA official website.
Master of Fine Arts in Dance
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview (to be conducted in English) between January and April. Applicants would be required to articulate their previous practice, demonstrate knowledge of the dance ecosystem, and express their intention of research areas.
