Identify Talents for Drama

The School of Drama is practice- oriented and aims to nurture creativity built upon the foundation of experience. The School encourages students to have unwavering dedication, self-discipline and fortitude as they receive training in stage presence, body movement, speech delivery, musical proficiency for actors, stage aesthetics, the languages of theatre and leadership skills for directors. Students will also benefit from the School’s comprehensive approach, which provides a wide range of courses designed to craft all-round professionals including script analysis, applied theatre, dramaturgy, interdisciplinary projects, theatre history, literature and criticism. They will also be able to participate in internships in professional theatre companies and organise overseas performances and workshop.

 

There are five majors in the School's undergraduate programme and students who have potential and passion for theatre are welcome to apply.
